yesterday i stayed around the house doing laundry, cleaning up a bit, organizing some stuff, etc. i went running for just over an hour. then i showered, made some cds and got ready to go to the bars. jonathan and i went to rusty's.
lots of black guys hit on me. i'm used to that though; it always seems to happen. i'm glad jonathan is there though so i can pretend he's my boyfriend. then they only bother me when he leaves to get drinks. we danced some of the night but i want to go to a real club for dancing. i hope jonathan doesn't mind always going to rusty's and dancing. it's great that he dances though. a guy that doesn't mind dancing and doesn't look stupid doing it is very important. especially if you want to get close. :0)
i'm watching real world las vegas. i've been catching all the reruns. haven't watched a real world in many years but i'm getting into this one. they're living in a las vegas casino and it just seems really cool. i've only been to the airport in las vegas and would like to actually go hangout there.
this afternoon i rode my bike to the bank. had to deposit my scholarship check. i thought it was cold out and wore gloves and all but it was close to 70. very nice day. i went to the union and wanted to get burger king but the food court was closed. there's a bowling alley, game room, etc in the bottom floor of the union including a subway. so instead of BK i got a turkey sub which is much better for me. i also got a wild cherry pepsi, some peanut butter m&m's and black licorice nibs.
the best thing i found was the game room. at first i only noticed 3 pinball games: monopoly, twister and miedeval madness. monopoly already had a credit on it so i played that first. it was ok. then i played twister which was pretty good but not enough lights so it was hard to see where the ball was. i ended up getting multiball pretty quickly. the neat thing is that air blows out of the game when you get multiball so now i know what it's like to be in a tornado in kansas. haha! then i played miedeval madness and was leaving when i saw 2 more pinball games on the other side. can you believe it? 5 pinball games in one room!! that never happens anymore. no guns n' roses though. rob reed is probably the only one who will appreciate this since we both easily become obsessed w/ pinball. rob reed you have to come here and we can go bowling, eat subs and play pinball!!!

I love giraffes! I wish I had a pet giraffe and I would name it Mr. Giraffe. One time I had a pet elephant and his name was Loyal. I sent him a letter in The Jungle when I was in undergrad but I don't think it made it there. Loyal was cool! There's nothing better than playing with doggie and kittie poop in Parasitology, except maybe looking at all the dead stuff in necropsy. |
