cleo went to the clinic today for a checkup to make sure she's ready for surgery tomorrow. she's gonna be spayed tomorrow so she can't pass on her horrible howling genes. she is really cute though. i'm glad i have her but i don't know what i'll do with her this summer.
my dad had me sent a finals care package the other day w/ lots of junk food, toys and dog treats. very nice. and today my mom had sent to me a care package of awesome extra sharp cheddar cheese, kookaburra licorice, hot cocoa, tea, etc. which was really good.
i have to give my physiology presentation tomorrow. i went over it w/ randy on the phone. i have everything ready it's just that i don't know how much i'll have to look at my notes and slides and how much i can just look at my audience. hope i don't get too nervous.
i was supposed to go back to the lab to study gross for friday but after lab today i went to the clinic to bring cleo home and then i went back to the lab to work on my presentation and then i went back home to eat dinner. once i got home i got anxious about my presentation so i kept practicing and then i felt too distracted to study gross so i'll just wait until tomorrow when my presentation is over.
the heat here is brokn again. this time we need a whole new furnace or something so i'm kinda cold. hope it gets replaced soon or i might freeze.
i'm home alone tonite. katie went to a friend's house and jonathan is in a hotel in wichita cause he takes his licensing exam tomorrow morning. everyone hope he passes cause it would suck to go through more than once.
i get kinda scared being here alone but this time i'm more cold than scared.
i really need to go to bed cause i have to get up early to bring cleo in and i'm tired anyway and i want to be fresh for my presentation and for the day in general so i can get a lot of studying done and running i hope if i have time.

I love giraffes! I wish I had a pet giraffe and I would name it Mr. Giraffe. One time I had a pet elephant and his name was Loyal. I sent him a letter in The Jungle when I was in undergrad but I don't think it made it there. Loyal was cool! There's nothing better than playing with doggie and kittie poop in Parasitology, except maybe looking at all the dead stuff in necropsy. |
