i talked on the phone last night to rob reed and naomi, both for a very long time. i should have gone out and gotten drunk or something to celebrate but that didn't work out.
this morning i got to watch su basketball on espn. they kicked georgia tech's ass by like 30 which was awesome plus georgia tech beat them last year: payback's a bitch. haha!
after that miami was playing the vikings and they lost in the last seconds to a really old kicker making a 53 yarder. bullshit! at least i got to see dan marino on the recap show. he has great hair, i just wanna run my fingers through. now ku is playing ucla. what a day for televised sports.
the mormon missionaries visited me this morning. since i was in the mood to talk i probably spent more time w/ them than i should have plus i am curious to learn more, i'm just not interested in practicing any religion. anyway they have my name, number and address so they'll probably keep bugging me now. i talked to my mom after and she said when she was stuck when the truck broke down after dropping me off in kansas, she went to a visitor's center that was also a mormon place and they were really nice to her and gave her a tour of their place, etc. since then people have been coming to her house several times. oops!
i'm also trying to get out an application to this summer vet research program at cornell. it's due dec. 27th and i have to update my resume still and fill out the application which includes a one page personal statement that'll take me some time.
other than that you could say i'm kinda depressed. why? who knows. probably just annoyed w/ myself and my life. whatever.
rob reed, jenn and i will probably drive down to disney world for a little bit for a reunion vacation. it would be even better if we could find a 4th person to come w/ us. anyone interested? i'm being serious. all interested, email me. i'll hold a prompt interview and make my decision asap. (just kidding) but really if you're interested let me know. the more the merrier, i hope. we'd probably leave jan 1st and it's value season then plus they're even offering discounts on the value prices. shouldn't be too expensive.
