can't a girl ask for a little march madness w/out the war shit? i don't know why i'm so upset right now but all this 'are we going to war or not' crap is really getting on my nerves. i know it doesn't matter what i think and how dare i complain when i'm not doing crap but sittin' here in manhattan, ks going to school. but hey this is my weblog and i'll say what i want. all i know is march is my favorite month! i love to watch my orangemen (hopefully) kick ass and all the upsets. i just found a new online betting site and started a new account and deposit. i'm all ready to go and if this impending war postpones the ncaa tournament i'm going to be pissed. well there is lots to enjoy in life, most of it is out of my price range so i find the simple things like watching sports really get me excited. why can't the stupid actors still walk down the red carpet? why can't baseball go ahead w/ the series in japan? i can see cancelling flights to the middle east or getting the hell out of there but why do we have to be so quick to hide here? most regular people go about their business and they're the most in danger, not famous people. after september 11th (2001) i still ran the nyc marathon that november. now i'm running the marathon in washington, dc this sunday and maybe we'll be at war. am i scared? not really now, it depends what happens by sunday. it's just so frustrating when you can do nothing and knowing that president bush makes the decisions. i'm not saying i disagree with going to war. i can't pretend i know much about the politics involved. all i know is there are lots of assholes out there and i wouldn't be sorry to see any of them go away. but once it starts who knows how long it will last. $80 billion for the first month. ugh!!

	Hi, my name is Heather. I'm a 2nd year vet student. Email me. I love giraffes! I wish I had a pet giraffe and I would name it Mr. Giraffe. One time I had a pet elephant and his name was Loyal. I sent him a letter in The Jungle when I was in undergrad but I don't think it made it there. Loyal was cool! There's nothing better than playing with doggie and kittie poop in Parasitology, except maybe looking at all the dead stuff in necropsy.
