well my life is pretty much back to normal. spring break is over but we have nice weather here so that makes it a little better. plus really my first year is coming to an end pretty fast. very hard to believe!
i have decided to do the eisenhower marathon on saturday. my friend fatima's parents live in abilene and they said we could stay there friday night so i won't have to get up super early saturday morning and drive there. fatima has to be back at school though by 12:45p cause it's open house at kstate and the vet school. i guess it's a really big deal and the public comes to look at what we do and we have to work certain booths. i'm not doing it because of the marathon but fatima is so that means i have to run pretty quick so we can leave. as i've said before i hope to break 4 hours and if i do we'll be fine on time. the closer to 5 hours not so good so i have more incentive to run fast.
i'm taking cleo to our behaviorist, dr. gaughan, probably next week to see what i can do about the howling and the chewing. she hasn't chewed anything in awhile but i was home all last week and jonathan's home this week.
i watched lots of ncaa basketball last week. i'm sad i have to wait until thursday but hey syracuse is still alive!!! i was winning the pool at the vet school but after sunday's upsets i've fallen to second. i had xavier in my final four and now they're gone. i've also been betting online which i started last year and did pretty well. this year i'm not so good. i stopped doing straight bets and went to multiple team parlays to get those bigger payoffs but i haven't won yet. now it's almost impossible to bet with less teams and higher caliber matchups. i'm still winning the bet between rob and jenn which i also won last year.
i was supposed to have a neuroscience exam this friday which i was very worried about cause we only have class once a week so the material hasn't been sticking and it's not the easiest anyway. well unfortunately for dr. cash he's stuck in boulder this week with someone in the hospital so he's given us a take home exam. that's really great for me cause i can study as i go through the test and hopefully my grade is higher than i thought it would be. i got a 92.5% on our endocrine phys test which is great cause it was right after i took the immuno test and i hadn't slept much that whole week. still haven't gotten immuno back but we've heard the results aren't so good and according to our notes for tomorrow's class our next exam will be take home. not a good sign.
i'm going to try and do that neuro test now. american idol tonite, baby!
