hello everybody!! i'm back. rob reed gave me my site back last nite and he's been bugging me to post since he put so much work into the new design. haven't felt like posting since things aren't so fun right now.

i busted my bum all last week studying for finals to not do very well on the last couple. i had 5 finals, 1 per day. got off to a good start but tanked at the end. i stayed up most nights until at least 3am but that didn't seem to help by week's end. so i was extremely tired and pissed w/ my grades.

now that i'm done i'm stuck packing all my shit to move out of this hell to a hopefully not new hell across town. i fly out of hear on thursday morning so don't have much time. it doesn't help that the last tenant, a former vet student turned veterinarian, left the place dirty so the landlord is getting someone to clean but not until friday. so i can cram all my stuff into my tiny room and leave it for the summer but my room might not be so clean which sucks cause it used to be inhabited by a dog. anyway i spent all today packing and am not quite done though i've gotten lots packed. i talked to the landlord tonite and he was supposed to bring the keys by and i waited for 2 hours until i checked my email and my roommate told me she had gotten them from him and i could get them from her tomorrow.

so the plan is, tomorrow morning christine, a junior vet student (keep in mind i am now a sophmore!!) is picking up cleo at 8am to drive her to rochester, ny where i will claim her on thursday when i conveniently fly into rochester. it was cheaper than syracuse. then i will get to the uhaul place and see if there's a truck to rent for the day. then move all my stuff into the truck, finish packing the rest, and see if i can do it all in one trip. i have no help at the moment so it'll be a bit difficult.

recently apple came out with this awesome music download service. it's 99 cents per song or $9.99 for the whole album. you can listen to a 30 sec preview of any song and then download it in seconds. so much better than wasting your time w/ the free crap. this service has saved my life and stole my money both and i'm so happy!!!! what would we do without good music of all kinds? i would go insane. i spent all day yesterday buying music. i got out all my old tapes that i want to toss and looked for the songs i like at apple's music store. the good thing is i can buy just the songs i like and don't have to bother w/ the crap on most cds. and if i want the whole cd that's fine and it's only $9.99 for great quality downloads. so today while i was packing i only listened to my new songs and had a blast w/ song after song of all my favorites from ozzy osbourne, the sundays, morrissey, jane's addiction, the bee gees, eddie rabbit, eddie money, shaggy, neneh cherry, bon jovi, tesla, on and on and on.

so that's life for now. i'm on to syracuse thursday by way of rochester and then probably heading to boston on friday to take a vacation and see my puppy billy and my best friends rob reed and jenn and randy and michelle and mark and nathan and the lab and team envision and even rich, who has one of my spiderman action figures that i want back since we are no longer.

there's a duathlon on saturday on cape cod that i did last year and want to do but i'm so out of shape. it's only run 2 miles bike 10 miles run 2 miles so no big deal but i'll be really slow.

i'm going to finish watching my movie.

oh by the way rob reed hasn't taught me yet how to update the new cool things on my sight like the meters and grades, etc. so stay tuned. i'll see him on friday.

QUOTES

It's better to burp and bear the shame than not to burp and bear the pain.

Grandpa Martin, RIP

Keep your wits about you.

Dr. Wally Cash, DVM

If the present sucks, then look to the future.

RobReed, BadBoy

Well, I want to try everything in life.

Heather Rose Martin, CFG (crazy freak girl)

In the book of life there's only two women, big ol' good ones and good ol' big ones.

Ice Cube, HipHopper

I'd rather have a terrorist standing next to me than a Frenchman. (~15 min. later) Oh, I forgot about that, that's another reason I don't like the French, they eat horses.

Dr. Dee Griffin, DVM

Think about it. Sometimes people are just destined, destined to do, what they do. And that's what it is. Now everybody dance.

Justin Timberlake, Hottie!

Even in medicine, though it is easy to know what honey, wine and hellebore, cautery and surgery are, to know how and to whom and when to apply them so as to effect a cure is no less an undertaking than to be a [veterinarian].

Aristotle, 384-322 BC

Going to Kansas for Vet School is like going to the Special Olympics to play chess.

RobReed, BoyGenius

Now you can either stand around here eatin' jambalaya or you can come upstairs and eat my ass!

Brian Kinney, QAF Hottie!

I'll use this space to link to products at Amazon.com that I talk about in my posts or things that are significant to me for some reason. I hope you find all of this useful. By the way, if you purchase through my site I get a little kick back. Thanks!
