the yankees won their series against minnesota yesterday and the red sox are one inning away from meeting the yankees once again in the post-season. i love watching the yankees kick boston's ass!! another good thing about me being in boston this coming weekend for my fall break.

friday night i don't remember what i did but i know i didn't study and i went to the gym around 11p. the same people are always there and while i don't talk to them or know most of them, dr. paul m. i know though cause he helped teach respiratory phys last semester, i like to go and see if the same people are there. i guess we're all losers with nothing else to do on a friday night. came home and showered and fell asleep watching the ring.

saturday got up at noon and walked cleo to java so i could get some chai then came home to watch the yankee game and study for my bacT test that was today. after the game i went w/ my roommate ann, her dog cooper and my cleo to the canine club hike at marlatt park. that's always fun. cleo is always pretty good though i wish i could let her off leash but she'd just run away. then saturday night i cooked a bunch of veggies so they didn't go bad and juiced some fruit so that didn't go bad and went to the gym again where i ran into dr. kenney, my pharm professor. so i studied that day but not as much as i'd like. went to bed around 3:30a for some reason. finished watching the ring.

i was supposed to get up early on sunday to study and also so i'd be tired and go to bed early sunday night instead of staying up all night and ruining my week. anyway i got up at 12p which is bad but not as bad as 1 or 2p. went to java and got tea and lunch and studied there for a few hours. came home and watched the yankees win again, still trying to study. went to burger king w/ nina and then to the union, the 24 hr study room was full and studied until about 11 or so. came home and studied until 2am. i went to bed after 3 and then didn't want to get up this morning. so i didn't. i should have gotten up and studied if i wasn't going to class but instead i slept in and then tried to memorize 180 pages of notes in less than an hour which of course didn't work. i took my test and will be lucky if i got a 40% on it. everyone i talked to thought it was awful and some of these people studied for a really long time. they said it didn't make a difference. they knew just as little, though i'm sure they aren't expecting a 40% like me.

so after that we all felt like shit so me, rebecca, jen and calista went to chili's for food and alcohol. i haven't had any alcohol since my brother's wedding i think. i had a couple martinis and was feeling it a little. went back to school to get my stuff and then rode my scooter for the first time under the influence. haven't done much tonite except watch the red sox game. just trying to rest. i need to come up with a new plan of studying so i don't have to retake bacT next year or any other class for that matter. we get our parasit tests back tomorrow and i could easily have failed that too.

QUOTES

It's better to burp and bear the shame than not to burp and bear the pain.

Grandpa Martin, RIP

Keep your wits about you.

Dr. Wally Cash, DVM

If the present sucks, then look to the future.

RobReed, BadBoy

Well, I want to try everything in life.

Heather Rose Martin, CFG (crazy freak girl)

In the book of life there's only two women, big ol' good ones and good ol' big ones.

Ice Cube, HipHopper

I'd rather have a terrorist standing next to me than a Frenchman. (~15 min. later) Oh, I forgot about that, that's another reason I don't like the French, they eat horses.

Dr. Dee Griffin, DVM

Think about it. Sometimes people are just destined, destined to do, what they do. And that's what it is. Now everybody dance.

Justin Timberlake, Hottie!

Even in medicine, though it is easy to know what honey, wine and hellebore, cautery and surgery are, to know how and to whom and when to apply them so as to effect a cure is no less an undertaking than to be a [veterinarian].

Aristotle, 384-322 BC

Going to Kansas for Vet School is like going to the Special Olympics to play chess.

RobReed, BoyGenius

Now you can either stand around here eatin' jambalaya or you can come upstairs and eat my ass!

Brian Kinney, QAF Hottie!
