got back to the hotel and watched some tv and then to bed.
my mom got up saturday and went running while i slept until 10. then we went out and ate an early lunch at panera bread and then shopping. i got sick of shopping real quick cause i don't have any money for clothes and no need either. i had tons already and can't wear most of them cause i ride a scooter to school and even so it's freezing in school. did the plaza stuff until close to 4 and then picked up some beer and food along the way as well as stopping at the wig shop and mom got a fake piece that wraps around your ponytail w/ some braids and crazy hair. i tried on a really long piece of straight hair. i have pictures of both of us to post. i wanted the long hair but if i keep changing my haircolor it'll be useless so i thought i'd wait til i had a normal haircolor or i grew mine out. by the way i have purplish/magneta kinda hair right now. we even witnessed a car accident. back to the hotel so i could study. mom left me for a couple hours to study and then we went to dinner. we happened at a place that had small tvs so kinda saw some of the game. went back to the hotel w/ dessert and finished watching the game while i studied. then had to see britney on snl. studied til about midnight and then feel asleep to one of my fav shows forensic files.
guess i had a restless night of sleep cause mom said i was tossing and turning a lot and i remember having lots of dreams. again mom got up and ran. we had brunch at the marriott and then back for more shopping. i got a few things on sale, nothing too exciting, and then back to the hotel to get the car and come back to manhattan so i could study.
we got here around 4 and then unpacked and settled and then mom drove me to the library and she walked around aggieville while i studied w/ rebecca for a couple hours. then we got back together and went to so long saloon for dinner and a very crazy night. we were sitting at the bar so we could watch the yankee game and we had ordered dinner and drinks. i ordered a cosmo and proceeded to eat dinner and drink my cosmo and a diet coke. eventually the guy next to me asked what i was drinking and when i told him he said a cosmo should be in a martini glass and then because he knew the bartender he started giving him a hard time, jokingly, about giving me a cosmo in a shot glass but the bartender, mark, said they didn't have martini glasses. then this guy, bob, bought me another though i told him i needed to go study and shouldn't. he was giving me a hard time for wanting to study and we started talking and he was there with 2 other guys and 2 other girls. my mother made the mistake of saying she was there for my birthday and then bob started ordering shots, lots of them. so i ended up having a few cosmos and a few shots and then bob's friend michelle started talking to us saying that bob asked her if he should talk to me and michelle told him i was hot and go ahead and then michelle said she thought i was beautiful and was into girls but would let bob have me and she was saying all these crazy things to me and my mother, just drunk girl sappy things, reflecting on life. she thought my mom was so cool and called her a MILF. bob was a good looking guy but i guess shy when not drunk. he didn't ask me for my number but gave me his though i didn't write it down so i won't remember. i could always go back to see mark and ask him bob's number. he'd be good for a night of fun once in awhile. he even took care of our food bill. also the place closed at 8 but we were in there until 9:30 cause bob and his friends new mark the bartender and kept making him get us shots. so crazy! then mom and i drove home, turning down their offer to go to coco bolos and then i rode my scooter to the library where i am now trying to study a little bit.

I love giraffes! I wish I had a pet giraffe and I would name it Mr. Giraffe. One time I had a pet elephant and his name was Loyal. I sent him a letter in The Jungle when I was in undergrad but I don't think it made it there. Loyal was cool! There's nothing better than playing with doggie and kittie poop in Parasitology, except maybe looking at all the dead stuff in necropsy. |
