so what did i do this weekend? i'm sure you'd all love to know! went to the library friday night and mostly wasted time screwing off w/ rebecca, dan and nina. saturday got up early for the exotics club wetlab. we got a shipment of some dead turtles, lizards and snakes to look at anatomy, radiographs and some diagnostic technique stuff. i don't know anything about these animals and i feel bad i don't know much about turtles because robreed gave me a turtle, bridget, for my birthday when i turned 20 i think. so bridget is about 9 years old. poor bridget.
after the wetlab i went home to shower and waited for nina to call. there was the big fball game ksu vs. ku and every home game the vet school has this thing CatTown where they cook food for free a couple hours before the game so nina and i were going to get some but nina didn't get done in time w/ her other thing so we tried to race over to the stadium but didn't make it in time and then had to go to bob's diner for food and that wasted lots of time. then i was doing some stuff at home and feel asleep and basically didn't do anything productive saturday.
sunday got up kinda late, luckily we had an extra hour and quick cleaned the shower, showered, went to java for some lunch and brought it to the library. was at the library from 12:30-5p, went home for dinner and then back to the library from 6-9something. then home for an early night but got addicted to this autopsy show on tv and went to bed about 1am.
class all day today and then library from 5:30 and i'm still here.
naomi called and we actually have lots to talk about but i said i'd try to call her back this weekend since i'm trying to study. talked on IM w/ this sophmore in high school about vet school. she's a frequent reader of my weblog and is interested in vet school so i try and give her the 'real' scoop.
i made some quote tonite that i was gonna add to my quotes but it's stupid and i can't remember it exactly anyway but it was something like 'if i had to say something bad about kansas, there's too many flies in the library.' it's so awful tonite and they seem to want me. they're just flying all over my table and on my stuff. part of the reason nina left was the flies. yesterday there was a huge cockroach that rebecca tried to smush but was unsuccessful cause it kept running away.
if nina and i don't make it through vet school we decided we'd go touring europe w/ our scooters.
did you notice the yankees lost the world series? that's something i did saturday night. oh well at least they beat boston. wonder who's not coming back next year. i'll be interested to see.
