Intel to do SiGe

On a Single Chip, Intel Joins Realms of Analog And Digital. New York Times Sep 15 2002 8:14PM ET [Moreover - moreover...]

First of all, ignore the Times' title: It's completely wrong.

Intel, when making the step to 90nm, is going to add SiGe, strained silicon, low-k ILD, high-K gate dielectric. All at once.

That's an excetionally bad idea when it takes tens of billions of dollars to find out if you're doing it right.

Removed

I've just removed OS Opinion from my aggregator subscriptions. Their RSS for the past week or so has been spitting out massive amounts of old posts with each update. At one point last night I had to delete over 280 posts from OS Opinions, just to get to the rest of my subscribed feeds.

And I'm not interested in troubleshooting it for them. (And yes, I usually subscribe to my own feeds whenever I make a change to make sure I don't masively foul the works.)
