Wrong answer on broadband


Lack of content holding back broadband in US. Users not content [The Register]

How about lack of ACCESS to broadband? If no one is selling it, it doesn't matter how much or little content there is. It wasn't until last Friday that I finally found someplace that would offer grown-up broadband in my area (as opposed to baby broadband from RoadRunner or Verizon Online where it's against the rules to actually do anything with it, for any amount of money). Now of courseI run into the problem of minimum 12-month contract...
