The digital cable box from my cable company used to bring up the
"main menu" when I pressed the menu button on the remote. At some point
they slipped in some new firmware to change the menus. Now the menu
button brings up a "quick menu" with four selections including the main
menu. Everything on the quick menu has it's own button on the remote
except for the main menu. The only prupose of the quick menu is to get
to the main menu, where before you would just get the main menu.
This is called progress.
