Conflicting reports


Marketing guy at Intel predicts 30GHz processors: "We have never reached a situation where hardware got ahead of software applications."

Andy Grove says we're falling off the end of Moore's-law growth: "operating, in retrospect, way ahead of the underlying demand".

If had to pick one of the two, who would you believe?

Best Slashdot quote: "I predict that, henceforth, these 'The End of Moore's Law' articles will double in number every 18 months or so."
