i haven't been able to write much of anything lately. seems i lost my edge about two weeks ago, right around the time that i had my morphine increased. take it from me sports fans, comfort isn't all its cracked up to be. a clear mind is.

ann and i have been extremely busy dealing with other things.  our neighborhood dog law revolution, a ferocious battle with our HMO (the evil fucks suddenly decided to quit paying for my infusion therapy after 8 months of positive results), putting in a new kitchen floor, and beginning what will probably be a two or three-year landscaping project -- among the more ordinary chores of daily life.

i've made a decision about this web site. I'm going to lay off of the political postings - unless something comes from other than a mainstream source, and is so compelling that I have no choice.  There are too many other places you can get that stuff. i intend to stick with what I know, what I love.
