Random thoughts about Marc Fleury's blue paper

"Why I love EJB's".

...

However, I do think that we have a slightly different view of what a good AOP framework should look like. For one thing, I don't think it's necessary to tie it to any particular application server, and I fear that the JBoss stuff will be too integrated in there to be applicable in non-JBoss situations. Time will tell on this one.
 [
Random thoughts]

I need to look at how JBoss' service infrastructure and components can be used independently of the whole app server. Marc alludes in his paper that this is the case.

So, like I've been saying all along, language extensions in Java is a pretty exciting area to be in right now.  All the tools are in place, its just up to you to make it happen.

Good points. As well Godiva and Bali  that you found, I also stumbled on nice today which looks interesting as well.

Java may finally evolve. this post made me discover Carols Perez weblog, :Manageability::, which has many interesting posts about AOP.

The Go Game: San Francisco Urban Wireless Adventure. [Smart Mobs]

I did not understand what the game is based on this post and i wonder how it relates with the game of Go, that I used to pratice, in a mediocre way, a few years ago.

Need to find some links about this.
