Good summary of Bill Burke's new document JBoss Aspect Oriented Programming which finally explains the JBoss AOP framework architecture.
I initially had understood that JBoss was going to use AspectJ in their implementation, but it seems wrong: interceptors and pointcut declaration will be done in XML config files, with an inheritance hierarchy for config from your method invocation up to the cluster level.
Let's see where this leads them.
