Small screens put UK air traffic in danger The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and National Air Traffic Services (Nats), the owner of the Swanwick air traffic control centre, claim that the issue of whether numbers and text on the 28-inch Sony radar screens is sometimes too small to read is an ergonomic, not a safety-related issue. We think travellers would claim otherwise.
