The metaphors being used to tell the story of Gulf War 2:
Nation-As-Person (Saddam = Iraq), Self-Defence (Saddam = Al Qaeda), and Rescue (Saddam = oppressor of his people and neighbouring states).
Presumably, then, GWB: France != Our Friend
