Was reminded in a conversation with Emily over dinner Monday night how wonderful Bread and Wine by Ignazio Silone is. Read it for the first time in an Italian literature class I took at UCSC. The best book we read that quarter, narrowly beating out Calvino's Invisible Cities. Going to read both again before the summer is over.

Unboxed the access point, turned on its internal DHCP server via the admin web interface, then told my wife's laptop with its built-in 802.11b card to search for an available WLAN connection. Found it right away. A working WLAN extension to the home network in approximately five minutes.
