Sam's urging me to get into the Groove. He's right; I should start running it again. I've got to figure out where I'm going to run it, since my main desktop machine is an iBook. Should I run it under Virtual PC? Probably not, since Virtual PC is still maintaining 100% SAS-compliance (Slow As Shit), and doesn't run at all well when there are other applications going (I have Radio and Office running most of the day). I'm currently in love with the Remote Desktop Client from Microsoft. Finally, I can have PC applications in a Window on my Mac. Of course, I'd be happiest if Groove came to Mac OS X... [Brian Jepson's Radio Weblog]
When I went and almost bought a MAC, it came down to this. I tried to find out information on Virtual PC, and couldn't. Eventually, it came down to I couldn't run the apps I need to (I do .NET development) and I couldn't justify paying the price premium: $1000 more for less hardware. But I do think we should be collobrating on a certain book the Grooveway, don't you? -)
