Groove Briefcase.
Ray Ozzie's Weblog: One other incredibly fascinating tidbit: 25% apparently use shared spaces with only themselves as a member, using Groove as a "briefcase" to transparently and securely synchronize files across multiple computers that they own - e.g. Office documents being synchronized between home and office PCs. [Sam Gentile's Radio Weblog]
This is exactly the reason I have been playing around with Groove. I need to synchronize files between the three computers I use on a daily basis. The killer feature I think that is missing is the ability to transparantly synchronize an arbitrary directory hierarchy. I want to be able to Groove (with myself at least) without needing to think about it.
It is a wicked cool application and only looks to be getting better at an extremely rapid pace.
Update: I am ashamed that I actually said "wicked cool".

Don't be ashamed, it is-) I have been using Groove a lot this way also (solo better Briefcase) to run my consulting business, and synchronizing dates. files, etc between 3 machines. The current killer feature is the disconnected case. As soon as I connect. I receive all my deltas of anything done in the space on any other machine or user in the space. On my latest trip to Redmond, I did a lot of work on the plane disconnected and then when I connected, automatic synchronization to all my machines. Sweet!
