Five years ago today was my first day working on Groove - an incredible journey, and yet it's only just begun. Here's to creating real and substantive value through technology, and here's to the next five, ten, and fifteen years... [Ray Ozzie's Weblog]

Congratulations to Ray, Jack and everyone in Beverly on this 5th. Here's to many more!

Another player in secure desktop collaboration market

At a quick glance, Tenix seems to offer a lot of the things Groove does:
  • 192 bit encryption
  • Instant Messaging
  • Workspaces
  • Office Integration
At an equally quick glance, Tenix has some difference from Groove (based on reading these documents):
  • Requires SSL connections to provide complete security
  • No offline support
  • No mention of platform on which custom tools/applications can be built
  • More expensive per client pricing
