I've branched off a whole bunch of Category pages and will start experimenting with keeping most of the content into categories so that people interested in certain things won't have to read all the other stuff in one mondo page: .NET, Science Fiction, Books, Groove, Personal and Family, XML and Web Services, Science.

I've just started Alastair Reynolds's new Redmption Ark, available only in the UK so far. Of course, anything Alastair writes is a must have and I buy from the UK as soon as it's out. He is one of the best of the Hard SF school that I favor. It's his third and a direct sequel to his first brilliant book, Revelation Space (UK) Revelation Space (US). He resurrects the trope of Space Opera but with so much more. I just finished Greg Egan's Schild's Ladder, which is certainly one of the best of 2002. However, it is quite a hard read. Take one look at his web site at the Physics and Math behind it and you will see why.
