The blink tag is back.  There was nothing more annoying than the blink tag that Netscape created to afflict us all.  Now there's flash, and many ad developers use Flash to create these annoying blinking ads.  It's like 1997 all over again.

As Copyfight put it more eloquently (Speak Softly and Carry a Big Sledgehammer), Hollywood has fallen in love with the creative and distribution possibilities of the Internet, but feel betrayed that those same possibilities will destroy many of their existing business models.
