Learn to Reinforce (like Jon Udell) Is Jon Udell brilliant or what?!?  He knows how to reinforce a good idea and make a person feel Greeeaaaaaatttt! 11:26:50 PM    comment [] Culture and Asperger's Just a note on culture:  People on the spectrum feel like they are from a different culture (sometimes even a different planet), yet we "neurotypicals" (psychologists included) are always trying to fit the AS person in to the dominant culture...rarely thinking to change the "normal" culture to fit the AS individual.  Theory of Mind tells us that AS individuals have deficits in understanding what we are thinking or feeling...but what about what AS individuals are thinking and feeling?!?  We need to work harder to understand and support them, rather than forcing them to do all the work.  Do you agree? 11:16:50 PM    comment []
