I respectfully disagree with Dave Winer's Essay: Sharon must go.  [Scripting News]
In general I find it ironic that it takes someone as abrasive and hawkish like Sharon to expose Arafat as the terrorist that he is. The recent rash of homicide-bombers and the crackdown effort by the Israelis have pushed things so far that both sides want the leaders of the opposing side to go. Wouldn't it be funny if that was Sharon's plan all along? This is probably the only way any Israeli leader could have gotten rid of Arafat.
Sharon should go, but only after taking out Arafat.
