Simon St. Laurent has some interesting comments on craftsmanship.  Man, I miss having a woodshop.  I've got a table saw and a chop saw, enough for some basic stuff, but my workspace is the garage, which is much too cramped.  I took every wood shop course I could in high school.  Sometimes I think I should have stuck with that instead of this software stuff.
