Grandpa is Sued Over 12 Year Old Grandson's Downloads. A 67-year old man who doesn't even like watching movies has been sued by the MPAA for copyright infringement after his 12 year old grandson downloaded four movies on their home computer. The MPAA filed a federal lawsuit Tuesday against the man, Fred Lawrence, seeking $600,000 in damages for downloading four movies.
