I'd really prefer to create my presentation graphics in SVG rather than Visio or Powerpoint or exported images.  An SVG graphic can be zoomed, and elements can be linked to other documents.  But there are no SVG converters for Visio or Powerpoint, and native editing tools aren't there yet.  Downloaded JASC WebDraw and Amaya.  Amaya is primitive.  WebDraw has potential, though it isn't really targeted at presentation-style graphics.  Guess we'll all be roughing it for a while longer.

This document at w3.org shows what I would call architecture patterns for web services.  Unfortunately all the examples are SOAP-specific.  I wish that they had separated the generic scenario from the specific SOAP implementation.
