Spartak Somerville - Volleyball John, Kevin, Nan, Deepa, Becky and Rog took the court tonight and acquitted themselves admirably. 6-2 isn't too terrible when you consider the first game was lost almost from the beginning when only 4 people showed up on time and the second loss came against the top team in the league...though dammit, we might have taken both if I actually had stepped up and hit the ball a little better. Jumped out to a 10-4 lead and then promptly gave it all back as time after time I was unable to finish the point. Grumble grumble. Still, much fun was had by all. Bye week coming up and then only two more weeks left in the season. 11:46:20 PM
