Incestuous log linking It dawns on me that I haven't webbed together all of my sporadic attempts at Web logging using different systems, so here goes: boblog.blogspot.com/ started for class discussion, with Blogger stepno.ManilaSites.com/: a first, and mostly-abandoned, attempt using Manila. Trellix example using Tripod, just a quick class demo in Fall 2000, mostly about zines. My weblog "lecture" page is about logs and I've updated it a few times, but it's not dated-entry-loglike itself. Sept. 11 page; this isn't exactly a log either, but has some things in common with one. It's a page I posted after my classroom was evacuated that morning, then revised almost daily for the next few weeks as a "resource page" for my class. Unlike a dated log, it would have been hard for students to tell when I'd added new information, but I tried to point out new links in class. I abandoned both the Manila and Trellix/Tripod web-based-editor sites because updating them over a modem connection was much too slow. Blogger and Radio are both very fast. 1:19:17 PM
