Today I've edited last weekend's log entry to explain why one of the links "expired," but I kept the 9/29 date and headline. Should I have changed them? Maybe I should write a "Weblog Stylebook" full of rules for situations like that.
Bigger question: When should "professional" online news sites fix their mistakes by editing an earlier story? When should they do a story about the mistake? Those are good questions for class discussion, so watch for "corrections" and "updates" in your online news reading.
