Journalism Converges in Florida

A third annual Symposium on Converged Journalism met this week at the University of Florida, with panels on "How broadcast, online and print journalists work together," "Photojournalism in a war zone," "Blogging and journalism" and "Entertainment journalism."

J.D. Lasica brought his New Media Musings along and blogged a report about the event.

The panels were recorded and are online as Windows Media Format (WMF) streaming files, at http://www.jou.ufl.edu/converge/webcast/

Mindy McAdams, the symposium organizer, recommends the photojournalism panel as "really something special." She also suggests a DSL or T-1 (LAN) connection to view the videos.
