Over in Nashville, magazine publisher Rex Hammock's weblog points to a Wikipedia-abuse parody... that has fun abusing a former Nashville newspaper publisher... in response to a real incident of Wikipedia-abuse involving another former Nashville newspaper publisher.
As Rex says, to some extent it's an "Inside Joke" for folks who have been around Tennessee journalism a lot longer than I have... but it works just fine as a lampoon of every stereotyped publisher since Charles Foster Kane.
Rex (a publisher who blogs?) clearly fits no stereotype.
The parody is in the Nashville Scene.
Footnote: I just realized my headline for this blurb is probably a good summary of what many publishers think their staff is always doing.
