"The worst of times demand the best of reporters," is how one journalism ethics expert puts it.

Reporters from the Roanoke Times, NBC-TV, Time magazine and Virginia Tech's Collegiate Press discussed Media Coverage of the Tragedy at Virginia Tech with an audience of journalism educators last week.

The 90-minute discussion at the annual convention of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication in Washington, is online courtesy of UMTV, C-SPAN and the AEJMC Reporters.

YouTube versions of the audience questions and panelists' answers are here and here.

The convention newspaper, AEJMC Reporter, covered the VT panel discussion, and other convention events in stories available here and here.

Additional video feeds include a keynote address by Bill Moyers.
