Goodbye to OS 9.x It's time: Goodbye to OS 9.x on my PowerBook. Last week I had to reformat the 18GB hard drive in my Pismo PowerBook and reinstall OS X 10.2.1, and along the way I completely forgot to reinstall OS 9.x as the Classic environment. I've decided I am not going back. If I need a legacy app, I will use it on my old PowerBook 3400c. No more Classic for me... [Mac Net Journal] ...for that matter, I'm new to the Mac and have no interest or desire to run legacy, classic OS 9.x apps.  Does anyone know how to uninstall OS 9 and classic mode without resorting to reformat and install.  I'm already running Jaguar, but it's an upgrade since my new iMac came with 10.1.x and OS 9.  I want to remove OS 9, completely.  Does anyone know how to do it? 5:27:43 PM    comment []  Google-It!
