I think I figured out why I like Friendster so much: it's like being in elementary/middle/high school and passing notes like
Do you like me? Check [ ] Yes or [ ] No (PS: please check Yes and please write back)
Except (and here's Friendster's value-add) if they check "No" (or just don't write back at all), then you don't have to deal with the awkward day-to-day interactions you had to face back when lunch, recess, and math homework were your biggest concerns.
Not that I had problems with rejection at school growing up or anything.
