Web Design World 2002: Boston - Another Thunderlizard conference coming up. Apart from TODCON and the Macromedia DevCon, the Thunderlizard conferences are about the best things out there. I have been to many of these from the first Photoshop conference on to the last Web Design World and all have been outstanding. I won't be at this one unfortunately, but you should be. There are special deals on registration that are going to end on October 9th so get going now and sign your team up to go especially if you are in the Boston or NewYork area. This will probably be the best conference this year in your area.

Two nice customer sites: University of Wisconsin and Panasonic AustraliaUniversity of Wisconsin-La Crosse Campus Map & Panoramas in using DW MX, FW MX and Flash MX. Panasonic Australia features a CF MX based site for putting together your own home theatre with Panasonic products.

Dreamweaver on DesDev - If you haven't been to the desdev center this week, pop on by. In the next couple days there are going to be a lot more articles so if you want to get the content that is current there, you might want to take a look now. After the release the old content will be there of course, but the content this week is particularly good with articles on the datagrid in ASP.Net and blogging with eVectors and Radio.

Microsoft talking up Windows Media - c|net - Microsoft is trying to woo film producer and by extension all of us to start delevering content in WMP. This week four independent films are going to be shown exclusively in the new WMP9 format.

Are you delivering video in your applications and sites? If you are which formats are you using? I have been to a lot of sites that require QuickTime, but I don't want to watch them because there is always the ad for the professional or unlimited or whatever version and I don't like that. I guess you can turn that off, but it is a hassle and I don't want to spend the time to do that.

What are your thoughts on video on the web?
