This isn't really news at this point (I've seen it posted all over today), but I thought I would post it just for my own record keeping. Portions of Microsoft Windows 2000 and NT source code were recently leaked onto the Internet [Washington Post]. I'm just surprised that it hadn't happened earlier. You have to give MS credit for keeping control over their source code. I don't think any other company could show such a good record for such a ubiquitous product. 10:13:44 AM  permalink  comment []

I have been using that Merriam-Webster online dictionary for quite a while. It is okay, but I have found it a little sparse and it doesn't always have the words I am looking for. Today, I ran across an online dictionary that combines results from several other dictionaries [hyperdictionary]. I will definitely be using this one from now on. 9:27:03 AM  permalink  comment []
