-- I am not sure how Bush, Blair, and friends "pushed" for a diplomatic solution. A week or so ago they said the 17th was the deadline. Now it is the 17th. Given a 1 day deadline does not allow for any sort of reaction by Iraq or the UN.
Since Bush created the axis of evil more than a year ago, I have never seen any indication that Bush was seeking a diplomatic solution. At least Blair indicated that that a diplomatic solution was desired.
I pray for the safety of U.S. soldiers and the citizens of Iraq and all the World.
