Transforming Kids with Technology "The technical support team at B. F. Yancey Elementary takes care of the usual assortment of tasks. They load printer drivers, transport the school?s wireless iBook systems in and out of classrooms, tutor students in the use of their software applications, organize websites for teachers, and show parents how to make computer-based presentations. It's nothing out of the ordinary ... except that the average age of the team is eight years old. But then, these are no ordinary kids--these are iKids." 3:58:21 PM

Maine Laptop Program a Success Reporting on Maine's introduction of Apple laptops to 17,000 seventh graders, an Associated Press article posted on CNN.com says, "Maine's first-in-the-nation laptop program, which covers all 241 public middle schools, has received high marks as the first full year ends this month."
