Blogging and Small Business

Dan Bricklin offers us some great examples of how small business can use Blogging.

I found the B & B example fun - the typical B & B website is so static - I have a small retreat site I think I will do a blog for it- show you pictures as the season changes - guests etc. Much more fun and easy!

Obesity - The Mainstream is Looking at Carbs

Time Canada's main article this week is on Obesity. It debates the three avenues, Fat. Calories and Carbs. It comes down to recognize that fat and calories are too simplistic a view. Years of trying to watch both have failed.

The Carb/Insulin issue seems the most likely - see the post on Soft Drinks in LA.

I feel that if Time is here now - policy makers will not be far behind and we can expect a growing surge of opinion that will look at the health risks of simple carbs - Watch out Coke Pepsi etc, Come back Milk as a Kids Drink
