Public Review of Portlet Spec

Finally, the Portlet API (JSR 168) is in public review, so we can start implementing it in Cocoon...Ok, perhaps it's better to first read it and see if it's worth...

Social Meetings

Cocoon is really an interesting community. The members are meeting in private and have greet conversations (without speaking about Cocoon) although they only met before on the mailing list; it's a little bit like a blind date :) Two examples: Sylvain visited Bertrand, I visited Steven, so who's next?

And Marc: You're wrong, we did have a great holiday in Belgium and are seriously considering comming back! Belgium has really very nice cities!

Cocoon Training

Next week, we (Matthew and I) will give another Cocoon training in the "south" of Germany. We present our one week seminar covering many aspects of developing web applications with Cocoon.

Cocoon Webapp Itches

I tried very hard to follow Sylvain's and Marc's invitation to join forces in designing a good web application framework for Cocoon. But I failed...Ok, I only failed because of lack of time combined with the temperatures above 30 degrees. As soon as I get time to read the RT, I will try to see how that fits into Dywel.

I think the general idee between Dywel and Marc's and Sylvain's proposal is very similar. But I still think that you don't need continuations for it and you don't need to change the core of Cocoon. But that's still a dream...ony time will tell.
