I've been shovelling snow for two days... and I'm still not done... Over the weekend, Weirdlinks found us; so did Megarad's Linkswarm, and Madville... Weirdlinks is a hoot; Megarad is a techno surfer's dream and Madville is ... well... quite mad fun...

Our dog is snoozin', after a frisky morning of backyard antics. We made a large figure-8 track for him to race around and he's been happily racing around it... until this morning when he figured out how to climb up the icy snow banks (some are 4 feet tall) which now line the yard... I have to dig a trench all the way around the yard to keep him from escaping and then figure out how to keep him from climbing the interior snow banks because they don't hold his weight too well... We had 24 inches of snow...

The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer on PBS is working on a story about weblogs to air sometime in the coming weeks and they will be attending tonight's Meetup in DC to interview a few of you about your weblog and how and why you do it.  RSVP http://blog.meetup.com  ASAP so they can have a good mix of people to talk to (and give your blog national television exposure!)  If you have any questions, please email Samara Aberman from the program at saberman@newshour.org  They are looking forward to seeing you there! If you're interested, you can see past stories about the media done by the NewsHour at http://www.pbs.org/newshour/media/index.htm . If you are a dog rescue blogger, here's a golden opportunity to gain support for pet rescue and education: (we won't be attending, due to snow).
