Another way is to use the extremely clever metalink system by Blogdex. I've been using it for quite a while and I really like it. What you get is a history of links to stories you write about in your weblog, and since it's embedded right in the web log, all you have to do is click on a button and see who's writing about the article you've written or the one you're writing about. You'll see a history of who picked up the story first to the last person writing about it... very cool
