Celebrated Mother's Day this afternoon. I cooked for four mothers and their entourages. A total of 16 hungry people showed up at the house. I had cleaned yesterday so my wife would not have to. I did not allow her to do anything for the day, but enlisted the help of my three sons. I cooked the meat and my sisters brought assorted other dishes. We had a great time. I grilled two beef tenderloins. I have the book, "How to Grill" by Steven Raichlen. It is a great book; teaching how to manage the grill, the food and the recipes. The herb-encrusted tenderloin was exquisite as were the accompaning sauces. The only challenge was the weather. We had no rain here, but the wind was gusting to 40 or so. Quite intense and made it difficult to manage the gas grill.

I just renewed for another year. I guess I will have to make a resolution to write more often. Maybe if I knew someone was reading???
