| Personas & scenarios
I found this link through Column Two. This looks like a form of the “use case” used by developers here and there. Personas are stories about users, that provide important details about them (including goals, skill levels etc). Scenarios are representative tasks that they need to do. Both remove a mythical 'average user' from the equation and focus on the variety of real users and their goals.; 11:03:10 AM |

Back from vacation. I spent a week in Vermont, and a couple of days on the Belgrade Lakes in Maine. (I see that Curiouser and Curiouser has been away the same time, and that Dan Bricklin was in Maine, too.) Tuesday morning I woke early and walked down to the lake. A mink slithered along the rocks toward me, under the pier, and away. I had never even thought of seeing a mink, just hoped to see a moose. |
