Ron Lusk's Radio Weblog.Ray Oldenburg? Read, and loved, his The Great Good Place. Thought-provoking, disturbing. Do we know what we have lost? Have we lost—however—a substitute for something more substantial that we were made for? Lots of questions. 9:47:57 PM |

| Don't Be Sad
Good news on this point from a friend of mine: Also from Hot Buttered Death, something that's not weird, just sad...very sad. [via Poet and Peasant] I pointed this out to a friend who is a trombonist (and whose partner is a trombonist, and teaches trombone), and she replied: Here in the US we addressed this a couple of years back. Not sure how well it's working. One point I would argue—trombones are quite inexpensive compared to all other instruments (except kazoo, and the like). 2:47:58 PM |
