The later this year to be released version 2.5 of Groove will include a new cool feature called Groove WebServices (GWS), formerly known as Groove Edge Services. Can't wait to check v2.5 after reading Matt Pope, Hugh Pyle and Jon Udell on GWS!

Finished a beta version of our CADViewer for Groove last week. Did some more study of the Groove API and the samples in the Groove Development Kit, and.... at last understand the YourApp10 sample! Lord... that's a long way to go if you're coming from Visual Basic. It sure comes in handy if you learned some JavaScript, XML, C++, COM, IDL, interfaces too.

Hehe, enter the Groove Toolkit for .NET (the simple VB'er has to learn yet another lingo). Very neat, will have another shot at it soon. Still: the purist in me wants to stick to the oldfashioned JS-way of doing things.
