Does it count as an inquiry every time that I look at my credit?
When you look at your own credit report, it is called a consumer disclosure and classified as a "soft inquiry." Creditors and prospective credit grantors are not allowed to see it.
Probably, the main reason for your concern is that multiple inquiries in a short period of time tend to lower your credit score. For example, if you apply for several different credit cards in a period of a few months, there's reason to believe you might be overextending yourself.
Your own inquiries are not used in the score calculation. Here's more about inquiries and your credit score.
